June 16 P.2 1) Japanese Queen arrived in Van.; 550 Chinese on board, 324 on their way to Cuba. P.2-3 2) Hoysun Assoc Ottawa - 2 reps, from the H.Q. were in Ottawa raising funds for school. Warmly welcomed, and introduced to Chinese Reform Party and KMT members. They decided to set up a branch in Ottawa, and a few hundred dollars was raised. President of the Branch ; Vice: P.3 3) Hoysun Assoc. news from Montreal: when the fund raising agents were there, they raised $19,000. A fund raising branch was also set up in Montreal. President: ; Vice 4) Chinese Shingle Workers Union of Canada: announced on June 14 that the election for executives would be on June 20th.
