There were reps, from CKT Calgary and local associations present in the ceremony. 4) Hoysun Secondary School advocators Vic. - held a competition in order to advocate the school establishment. The competition involved making two matching seven-word statements, with the words Hoy and Sun as the start of each state- ment. 100 contestants were awarded. The first 3 wouio. each be awarded gold medals 5) The Chinese Labour Party would hold a tea party on May 1st commemorating the general strike by all labourers.
