April 20 p.l 1) Hoysun Assoc. - article encouraging more donations for the school. P.3 2) CKT in - Lim Ying Lo, president of H.Q., visited to check on the associational affairs. He also tried to raise funds for adding a new printing machine for the Chinese Times. He intended to raise $140 in the district, but after his speech in the association, he raised more than the intended sum. P.3 3) The Chinese Shingle Workers Union of Canada - executive list. The 30 executives consisted of reps, from all factories. Some factories would send 3 reps, and others 1 or 2. There were also 2 secretaries and one accountant. The constitu- tion of the Union was posted.
