- April 9 P.3 1) The mayor replied to the protest by Consul General Yip, and he stated that Chinese were actually found to be frequent drug offenders, that he did not purposely aim at attacking the Chinese. He hoped that he could cooperate with Yip to remove the evil drug market. 2)Wong Hong Har Cong announced on April 7 that the association had bought 3 houses along Pender.
