- VMarch 31 P.2 1) Consul General Yip sent letter to Mayor about Van. Sun attacking Chinatown as focal point of drug market. The Sun*lalso said that it was necessary to remove Chinatown in order to save youth from evil. Yip would like mayor to retain the article and lay responsiblity on Sun if ..there were any future mishappenings. Yip also wanted the mayor to stop attack the Chinese by the Sun. The Mayor said there would be no more mishapps in the future because the Sun was not reporting the facts.
