March 13 p.2 1) Lee Don Chung Association- . Lee Clan in Van. initiated the constitution of the Lee's Assoc. in San Francisco and set up the Lee Don Chung Assoc. in Van. The Assoc. was opened on March 7 when reps, from Kuomingtang, Association, CPS, Wong Kong Har Tong, etc. were there celebrating this occasion. Consul General Yip and Consul Sun, CBA's chairman were all presnt at the banquet. 2) CBA Van. gave 2 announcements on March 13 (i) old Chinese Hospital was for rent; interested persons should send in letter to with suggested rent for bidding on March 29. (ii) The CBA would like to hire a hospital aide. Contact if interested; t >>" .- ?T p. 3 3) A Chinese was fined either $500 or 6 months in prison for possession of cocaine. 4) A Chow member in Nelson denounced Kuomingtang because he could not make a living.
