March 1 P.2 1) Chee Duck Tong Van. - spring festival. a visitor from China was invited to make a speech. During the banquet over $200 annual fees were raised, many had given additional donations. P.3 2) Dart Coon Club Van. - spring festival on Feb. 29. 3) CKT Nelson: and were in Nelson on Feb. 17. said that the general convention in Victoria decided to maintain a close relation- ship and communication among all branches. said the H.Q. was responsible for protection of branches, but it had to depend on financial support from the branches. If the H.Q. in Victoria and San F .rancisco had started annual donations, all branches should help enthusiastically. 4) A Chinese thanked the ex-consul General Wong, And Consul Sun who were able to claim compensation for his dead brother, killed during work at CPR in 1918. The compensation of $263 was sent back to H.K. in 1919.
