January 29 P.I 1) Hoysun Assoc. - an article commenting on the establishing of Hoysun secondary school (+Jan.30 P.I). P.2 2) The Retail Merchant H.Q. held meeting in Ottawa. During the meeting there was again a proposal to prohibit E. Asians from entering Canada. The reason for this was increasing unemployment rate among the returned soldiers. p.3 3) Hoysun Assoc Van. announced on Jan. 29 that meeting would be held on Feb. 1 at CBA. The H.Q. in Vic. had already sent out a few reps, to meeting to discuss setting up of secondary school in Hoysun district. All locality members were welcome to attend the meeting.
