- January 27 P.3 1) Hoysun Association Victoria: an executive meeting was held on Jan.24. There were donations, donated $3000, $1000, $1000, $100, etc. They planned to raise ten or twenty thousand in Victoria and they would go to Vancouver. They might borrow the CBA in Van. for a meeting with the Van. Hoysun members on Feb. 1st. 2) A Chinese in Edmonton thanked Ambassador Yeung who claimed the legacy of another Chinese worker who died in Winnipeg. Yeung had sent the money back to the bereived family. p.3 3) Hoysun Association Van. : was the rep. to contact to collect exit fees. He announced on Jan.22 that he had collected $64 on Jan.22 and he would send it to the President in Vic. He hoped that the clan members might donate more for the establishment of the secondary school. 4) CBA Van. - represented the CBA to collect exit fees on Jan.22. Those who were sick were exempt from the payment. p.7 5) Chee Duck Tong Vic.: 2 pictures showing the associational buildings.
