January 20 p.l 1) CKT Vancouver - farewell note to, returning to China. p.2 2) CKT Van. admission ceremony on Jan. 17.conducted the admission according to the new constitution. 3) held a farewell party for on Jan. 18. 4) The Retail business department of the Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Retail branch association held a meeting when they also discussed the Chinese vegetable hawkers issues. They all decided to request the Treausry Committee to tax the Chinese hawkers for $100. p.3 5) Ambassador Yeung corrected his announcement on Jan. 12 P.3 He said that there was no registration between the Japanese and Chinese gov'ts. over the Shan- tung issues. The announcement he made previously was incorrect concerning the above issue, the mistake was made due to the incorrect codes in the telegram. P.3 6) Hoysun Ass. in Vic. - a 2nd meeting was held on Jan. 18 to discuss the estab- lishment of the secondary school. There were about 60 attendants, and they also elected the new executives who were also responsible to the establishmentof the school. Director , Vice . fund raising agents would also be sent out.
