- January 14 p.1-2 1) The Hoysun Assoc - an article to encourage the establishment of secondary school in Hoysun district, p.3 2) CKT - there was a N.Y. celebration on Jan.4. Where the Chinese tesidents held a co-function with the whites. Both the Chinese and white guests made speeches to glorify the Freemasons. , 3) Hoysun Association Victoria: a meeting on Jan.11 discussing establishment of secondary school. , who was the teacher of the Chinese scho'ol in Victoria gave a speech about the condition of the school in Hoysun district. (He had been in Hoysun in 1915 as mentioned slightly on P.I Jan.10). He showed the sketch copy of the building to the members who all seconded the necessity to build the school. (Director ; vice made speeches). 4) En-Yip Association ( ) announced on Jan.13 that an election had been held on Jan.11 in CBA. The executives of 1919-20 were re-elected (director , vice ) The credit of last year was about $5-6090 and they decided to build; however more money would be needed. Donations books were distributed to raise funds for building. 5) CKT Victoria: urged branches to return donation books so that the money could be collected for establishing a new association building for CKT in Lethbridge.
