July22. Tuesday P.3 The English newspaper in Medicine Hat reported that the 3 representatives of the C.K. headquarter were in the district on July 16. They came from Winnipeg and a reception banquet was held for them on July 17, by both the Chinese and white communities. introduced the C.K.T. to the whites by stating that there were 87 branch associations on the American continent with more than 30,000 members. The properties of the C.K.T. were worth $500,000. stressed that the C.K.T. would foster good relationship with the white community. P.3 2. Vancouver Canton School was established with as the teacher. The principal was and the supervisor was 3. The C.B.A. in Vancouver announced on July 21 that the election of the new executives was near. Thus the association would sent out 6 representatives to collect the Hospital Exit fee, so that the account could be clear when forwarded to the new executives.
