- Description
- June 26, Friday P.3 1. There was an improvement on the commercial activities plan in China: National Level: The headquarter, Dept. of Agriculture and Commerce. Provincial Level: Provincail Realty Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Associations. The Embassies Consulate and the Chamber of Commerce. Overseas Level: The Department of Commerce would order its in-country subordinates to give detailed reports on various kind of productions (the price, the size, the sketch of the products, the method to use the products and also the address of the factories). The reports would be distributed to the overseas subordinates so that the overseas merchants would have a reference on the Chinese production. The overseas subordinates were also asked to make detailed reports on Chinese products which were already at the overseas market. They had to report the rate of consumption or suggest any improvement, on the products. They were also asked to send back popular foreign goods so that Chinese factories could make imitations.
