Description
June 10, Tuesday P.I An article on encouraging the Overseas Chinese to boycott Japanese goods. P.3 2. The Canadian Labour Union headquarter in Vancouver announced on June 7 that they needed the support of the Chinese workers .in every field to support the general strike. The Union promised to treat the Chinese workers well after the strike was over; and it would help the Chinese to fight against discriminatory laws. The white labourer had now wanted good relationship with the Chinese. They also asserted that the negros and the Japanese had co-operated with the union. However, the Chinese workers still had not set up organizations to support the union. The union had planned to set up a branch in the Chinatown area so that Chinese workers could join the union, which would protect the welfare of the workers. 3. The C.K.T. (Victoria) posted out 2 photos of the representatives who were sent to raise funds for the realty debt. The 2 representatives would travel throughout Canada to carry out their mission.
