Description
March 14, Friday P.3 A continuation of the court hearing of 4 P.3 2. A meeting was held by the Returning Soldier's United Association ( ) to exclude East Asian workers. They hoped that the Canadian government would prohibit the East Asians from gaining entry into Canada. They suggested that the steamliners operating in the Pacific fire all the East Asian crewmen and replace them with returning soldiers. They even suggested that members not buy any goods from China. Finally they demanded the prohibition of East Asian students from finding jobs for 20 years when they were residing in Canada.
