Jan. 31, Friday P.3 News from Calgary: and were in Calgary hoping to raise funds for the headquarter. A general meeting was held on January 26th and was asked to make a speech. explained that the headquarter was in debt due to the support of Dr. Sun who had asked for revolutionary funds. They were able to raise more than a few hundred dollars for the headquarter during the meeting. 2. The C.B.A. announced on January 31st that Chinese who left Canada before December 15, 1919 were allowed to return to Canada freely within 6 months of armistice. 3. A translation of the letter sent by Ambassador Yeung to the Saskatchewan provincial government. The letter was sent out on Dec. 4, 1918 and it was concerned with the proposal to abolish the restrictive law that prohibited Chinese from employing female whites.
