Description: October 12 1) The Critic Column in the English newspaper commtfented on the Vancouver Kuoming- tang. 16 stated that on Sept. 26, the Canadian government had ordered 13 organizations to be dissolved. The Chinese Kuomingtang was one of the 13 organizations. However, it was discovered that the Kuomingtang was still operat- ing with the H.Q. on Fender Street. The association still had members who sent large sums of money back to China for revolutionary use. The English newspaper thus demanded the Kuomingtang to dissolve immediately. The newspaper further asked for a $5000 fine or 5-year imprisonment for Kuomingtang members. 2) News from Calgary: The leaders of the Kuomingtang ( and ) were in Calgary to carry out the associationalaffairs, however their activities were being detected by the police and eventually they were asked to leave Alberta. 3) News from Calgary: There was a struggle between the Kuomingtang and Chee Kong Tong in Alberta, when the Chee Kong Tong was discarding a photo of Dr. Sun. The case was brought to court and Chee Kong Tong won. The police even demanded that Kuomingtang discard the sign of the association so as to prevent intervention from the British Government (Oct. 21 P.3 - the members later covered the board with white pain on Oct. 14.
