Description: October 5 2-3 1) The Returning Soldier United Association had held a meeting and they brought up the case of Chinese gambling. They asserted that the gambling situation in Chinatown was still very popular. They thus suspected that the Chinese had got connections in the police force, so that they might be indirectly protected. Eventually, they sent a letter to the police and requested them to investigate the case.
