- August 31 .2 1) The CBA Van. announced that the ex-education minister who was having a tour of the States would come to Vancouver on Sept. 2nd to inspect the various Chinese Schools. He would go to the CBA first to meet with members. It was hoped that the Chinese community would give a warm welcome. .2 2) The in Chee Kong Tong was the chairman in recruiting new members, was elected to be the of the Vancouver Chee Kong Tong. He even received a license from the H.Q. in San Francisco to act as the for the Vancouver Chee Kong Tong. 3) The Branch Association (Victoria) for the Establishment of the Chee Kong Tong in Canton announced that the Freemasons had donated for the establishment of the Chee Kong Tong in Canton.
