- August 7 .2 1) The CBA (Van.) already held the final election on August 7 when old and new ex- ecutives were present. The chairman made sure that every one was satisfied with the locality representation system and then , (they were the new executives) announced that due to the large numbers of executives, the administrative structure would be divided into: 1) board of advisors and decision maker , which was to discuss, advise and decide on every matter; (2) board of directors ( ) which was to nangge the matters that trere handled over to them by the board of advisors. Those representatives who were not appointed specific posts would become the members at large. .3 2) News from Calgary: After the general convention of the Chee Kong Tong in San Francisco, there was a tendency of all Chee Kong Tong to unite as an official reorganized society. The Chee Kong Tong in Victoria thus appointed the and , also the president of the ( ) to go to Calgary for speech making starting August 7th. 3) Vice Ambassador Chiu was in Winnipeg on the 26th July to sign the nationality certificates. He left on August 3rd. He had personally signed more than 900.
