Description: July 17 p.7 1) There was a suggestion to build an overseas Chinese Hospital in Cranbrook so as to provide cheaper hospital fees for the Chinese. It was thus necessary to raise funds to buy a building; donation books would be distributed, and every Chinese resident in Cranbrook had to pay $2 foundation fee. The hospital had set up a constitution and representatives were appointed to collects funds.
