June 12 P2-3 1) Ambassador Wong sent an announcement to CBA on May 11 that Chinese residents who went for registration could come to the Bank of Commerce in the corner of Fender and Main street between May 12 and May 22. Except for those wh were too old, too sick or unable to go to register, all had to go personally. (An official would go to the houses of these unable to get out.) There would be an official interpreter in the registration office and the registration was free. (Some interpreters asked for 50$ charge but they were only personal services which had nothing to do with the registration bureau.
