- Description
- April 23 P.3 1) The Ghee Kong H.Q. in San Francisco requested the branch associations all over the continent to send in their mailing addresses before July so that a Chee Kong long directory could be published for permanent correspondance. 2) The in Victoria made an announcement on April 15. Originally, the members of the association (which consisted of 4 clans) had to pay a minimum foundation fee of $3 each. The fund was for establishing the association building or for the expenses of the association. Due to the bad economic situation in the past few years, the poor members were exempt from payment. However, after the general meeting on April 15, it was decided that all those who did not pay the fee had to between April 15 and Oct. 15; otherwise the association would not be responsible for their troubles and difficulties.
