April 10 P. 2 1) A report of the general convention in San Francisco. P.7 2) A monthly report (March) of debits and credits of CBA. Pll 3) A list of donors for Canadian Patriotic Donation. CBA in Van. donated $50. P.3 4) 2 Chinese were arrested for smuggling a few Chinese into Canada through the steamer on which they were working. One had tried to smuggle 3 persons and the other five. (April 11 P.3), they were put in prison for 6 months in additionto $250 fine. If they were unable to pay the fine, they had to stay in prison 3 additional months.
