April 2 P.3 1) the ______ Press of Ontario reported that when Ambassador Yeung was in London to negotiate the law that required pulling down of little rooms in Chinese restaur- ants, the son of the mayor had died in the war. Ambassador Yeung sent a sympa- thetic note to the mayor for the Chinese community. The Free Press also reported that the Chinese restauranters had held a banquet for Yeung in which there were P.3 1) Canadian VIP's present. Yeung made a speech to glorify the devotion of the Canadians in the war, and then he stressed that Chinese had also provided man- power to help the commercial development of the allied countries. 2) was hired to be the teacher for the CPS in Victoria.
