Description: January 23 Pl-2 1) An article on "party war". P.3 2) The B.C. Fruit Producers Association held a meeting with various labour reps, to discuss the shortage of manpower in B.C. The fruit producer's assoc. suggested letting E. Asian workers enter B.C. as farm workers, because the white farmers were demanding too high wages. The labour reps, had consented to the proposal of theffuit producers assoc. and they promised to bring the case up in B.C. Labour Union meeting for further consideration.
