Description: November 9th, Friday, P.3 1. Ambassador Lim persuaded the Chinese Community to support the Canadian government by buying Canadian government bonds. 2. In 7$- fy^ V<^ (near the Southern part of Vancouver), the Chinese workers in a factory went on strike because the boss had molested one of the Chinese workers. The Chinese workers intended to sue the boss who regreted his behaviour. The Chinese eventually withdrew their persecution after the boss promised compensation to the Chinese victim and also to the workers themselves.
