- Nov. 6th, Tuesday P.3 1. A celebration ceremony to remember v<jp was held in the Chee Kong Tong in Cranbrook on Oct. 27th. Funds were raised to subsidize 2. the travelling expenses of t£j ^k- jjfc. of the headquarter. News from Winnipeg: The Alliance Charity Assn. head held an exhibition on October 26th where there was an exhibition of goods from the allied countries. However, the Kuomintang had unwelcomely led a Chinese band into the exhibition field. They were naturally chased away because they were also regarded as the revolutionary party by the white community. The photo of Dr. Son was also being despised and neglected. 3. When 35 Chinese were arriving at Toronto they were arrested and their baggage was taken from them and searched. 9 were eventually detained for smuggling opium.
