Description: October 5th, Friday P.2-3 'jffUL ^_ 1. A business man ( ^ | /^i ) from Seattle arrived at Vancouver to promote the establishment of a silk textile company in Canton. The company was to be a combination of Chinese and American management. The constitution was distributed for reference. 2. 7\_ c-^~ (Tai-On Club) on Carrol Street was sued for providing gambling. However, after investigation, the club proved to be a legal charity organization, and the gambling charge was eventually dropped.
