Description: September 6th, Thursday, P. 3 1. Ambassador Yeung had tried to negotiate with the Canadian government to reserve in each shipment, 300 seats for the returning Chinese. The Canadian government had granted the consent, but the C.P.O.S. company should be responsible to negotiate the terms with the British Government (which had reserved most of the space in the C.P.O.S. ships for transportation of military provisions.
