- Feb. 15th, Thursday P.2-3 ! ^ 5 0 9 v? announced on Feb. 15th that the C.B.A. did not report in the newspaper every minute on the 22nd meeting on Feb. 6th. For example, they did not report how ^ "^ ^^ and other executives had insulted him. Finally ^j| ^ (j Q^ stressed that the 22nd meeting was just like a riot. P.3 2. News from Victoria: The fruit produce association held the 27th annual meetingin Victoria. The agricultural minister and other representatives all agreed to relax the law that prohibited workers from gaining entry into Canada. They asserted that the agricultural field needed manpower, and Chinese should be allowed to enter for a limited time period without the payment of head tax. However, they wanted the government to prohibit Chinese from owning and renting farm land.
