- Jan. 17th, Wed. P.2 1. Ambassador Lim sent a letter to the Chinese Times for public acknowledgement. He hoped to explain his position. He asserted he was in Vancouver for 4 years and had tried his best to help the Chinese Community. He was due to return to China in 1915. However, due to the restlessness in China, he > X £* stayed. He was ashamed of *Q ?6 s\< , the Presiqent of the C.B.A. who started the whole thing up, and he hoped that the Chinese community would not be stirred up by "fcp . Finally, Ambassador Lim announced that he would resign and asserted that the truth about his devotion to the community would be revealed soon.
