Description: December llth, Monday p.3 a) who had sat for the portraits sent a public letter on December 4th to criticize the C.B.A. for not being trustworthy. They asserted that the C.B.A. had to follow the set regulations and accept the 6 portraits, otherwise the Chinese might regard it as untrustworthy and unreliable. (2) The C.B.A. in Vancouver sent a thankful note to the Vancouver Chinese Welfare and Salvation Committee for the donation to the Chinese hospital, il - ^k'k, -ST <rf? who was the head of the committee was also praised for his devotion and kindness towards the Chinese community.
