Description: October 17th, Tuesday P.3 (1) The opening ceremony of CJxJUt T?«-cK Tcv^ on the 14th. o More than $160 was raised for the expenses of the association. (2) *%&- "^ *^ was a member of the Canadian Commercial Committee in Shanghai, and he suggested that the law that regulated the entry of Chinese students into Canadian universities should be modified. He asserted that in order to increase numbers of Chinese students, the legislature had to relax the student visas, that is, to cancel the $500 head tax imposed on the Chinese students.
