Description: October 9th, Monday P. 3 (1) The C.B.A. in Vancouver announced that every Chinese store should be closed on October 10th to celebrate the National Day. National flag should be hoisted. There would be a speech night in the association too. (2) CKsjL T?»^ck Tov>-<\ ^n Vancouver had a preliminary election of executives on October 8th. l°] ^ 'c was the temporary chairman. The final election would be on Oct. llth. (3) There was a riot at the meeting in the C.B.A. in Victoria. The meeting was about the issue of denunciation of Confucianism and national education. Police were there to investigate.
