October 7th, Saturday P. 3 (1) The C.B.A. in Victoria announced on October 2nd that /(*j 41^^^ was not the representative of the Overseas Chinese. A meeting would be held on Oct. 8th to discuss this case. announced that there was a Chinese who identified himself as the representative of the Chinese community. He distributed illegal and ridiculous posters, notices and circulars to the Chinese. (3) The Ghee Kong Headquarter warned its members to be aware of the imposters who identified themselves as representatives of the Chinese community. (4) The executive members of the reading room in Ghee Kong Headquarters were elected.
