Description: August 8th, Tuesday P.3 (1) The City Council discovered that the Chinese hawkers did not obey the regulation for working hours. The City Council then decided to punish severely any offender in the future. (2) A report of hospital funds collected by the C.B.A. from those who registered to donate to the hospital. From July llth to July 31st they were able to collect $16.20 for the development of the hospital.
