- Description
- July 10th, Monday i^ -\ P.3 (1) The Chee Kong Headquarter ' « M. a] announced that the company was ready to be opened on August 28th. All goods had been ordered from Hong Kong. (2) The C.B.A. in Victoria thanked the 2 ambassadors (Lira and Liu) of asking for compensation from a company whereby a Chinese was accidentally killed. Originally the compensation money was sent directly from the Embassy to the authority of the victim's home village. However, due to the restlessness inside mainland China, the Embassy had stopped sending money-orders. The C.B.A. then pleaded with the Embassy to let the association send the money back by other ways.
