Description: March 31st, Friday P.3 News from Victoria: It was reported that in the legislative meeting of the year, the issue of dismissing East Asian coal mine workers would be brought up. In the mean time, all the East Asian coal miners still had to get a certificate in order to work as miners. But the above ; method could not reduce the number of east Asian workers because certificates could be easily loaned to friends for admission. Stricter examination was thus needed to screen out the east Asian coal miners.
