- November 16th, Tuesday P. 3 (i) The Embassy^ announced on the 13th that Ambassador Lit., was able to revise a case in 1911 when a Chinese C.P.R. worker was killed by a car. The company had promised to compensate $500., but until 1915» the relatives of the victim received riot a penny. ^ £%j 3^ and ""^ 2*- ^ upon the request of Vftv.vSjtvW-^V Wi V.lvi. \ the victim's relatives asked help from Lim. Lii>. theii dealt with the company and was able to collect $500. to be sent to the victim's relatives. (2) When a Blue Tunnel ship arrived at Victoria on the 15th, one of the Chinese passengers had disappeared. It was suspected to be a case of murder after an unfair gambling game.
