Description: September 15th, Wednesday P.3 (1) The United Chinese Provision/Supply Company made an announcement on ^eptember 14th that the election for new executives would be on October 1st. All Chinese were welcomed to be candidates. (2) News from Cumberland - A Chinese male together with a child came to Victoria through a Japanese steamer. Since they had violated ttie constitution of the National salvation Association, they were fined $7.50. In addition, a store was fined $2,50 for importing Japanese goods mistakenly.
