Description: April 20th. Tuesday P.3 (1) A meeting was held in the National Salvation Association in Vancouver on April 17th to discuss about fighting back the fishing business for the Chinese fishermen. A proposal was _ /> fe- i -. -^i . made to establish a Fishing Company ( ;v*l ^ A ">\ ) as an opposition to the Japanese company^. The Chinese public was welcomed to be shareholders. =5 % |^\ and /i?\ t^n ;';9 were asked to prepare the constitution for the company. (2) The City council accused Chinatown of not being hygienic. Some even demanded to pull down Chinatown.
