- March 6th, Saturday P.3 (1) Ambassador Lim reported that there was extension of time limit for absence from Canada. He suggested that those who were unemployed could return to China temporarily, arid then come back after the armistice of the war. He further offered help to those who were unable to book tickets in Canada due to the limited operating team-lines. He asserted that he would negotiate with the U.S. Immigration Office so that Chinese could return to China through the U.S. ship companies with no trouble on transit.
