Saturday P. 3 (1) The union and the waitress association had appealed to the City License Committee stating that it was unfair for them to be unemployed while the general Asian workers were still working. They said that the unemployed Whites had mounted to 2,000 within which there were 600 with families. They hoped that the Committee would do something to help the unemployed Whites.
