Title in English, Nov. 16, 1910-Dec. 25, 1930: Swedish Canada news.
"Svenska Canada Tidningen was a Swedish newspaper published in Winnipeg, Manitoba from June 19, 1907 to December 29, 1932. Svenska Canada Tidningen, which means Swedish Canada News, was published weekly and edited by Fredrick Åhlén. The newspaper promoted a sense of Swedishness by publishing historical articles and poems about Sweden's Age of Greatness. It also covered news with editorial comments about political and cultural life in the Old Country, sometimes adding national rhetoric to the local news. Svenska Canada Tidningen claimed to have the largest circulation of any Swedish newspaper in Canada." Cf. Canadian Minority Media Database.
