The medal was awarded to Conductor Reynolds for extreme heroism which saved 18 lives on the occasion of the C.P.R. Train Wreck at Spanish River Bridge, Ont. Jan. 21, 1910.
A letter from the Marquess of Crewe was read at the presentation of the medal.
