Discussion of a letter, written by François Seguenot, to "Christina" [i. e. Mrs. Margaret Otis Baker] who as an infant had been taken captive, with her mother, in the raid on Cocheco (Dover, N.H.) of June 28, 1689, taken to Canada and sold to the French. She was rebaptized as Christina and educated in the Catholic faith by priests in Quebec. She escaped to New England in 1714. This letter was published with "the answer" by Governor William Burnett of Massachusetts--National Union Catalog pre-1956 imprints.
