De Veer's account ends pages 40; on pages 40-41 is an account of Henry Hudson's voyage to the North-East in 1609, with references to America. Also includes Pontanus' dissertation on the northeast passage: pages 54-57.
Title vignette (2 ships); 6 copperplate engravings which appeared in the text in the original edition, are here given in reduced size on one folded plate, and numbered "foly 3", "foly 4", "foly 8", et cetera.
