Licensing and Subscriptions

Subscriptions to Canadiana content support the continued digitization and preservation of Canadian documentary heritage. For more information or to apply for a subscription, please contact us at: info@canadiana.org.

Institutional subscriptions are available for the following classes:.

Degree-Granting Academic Institutions

Includes all degree-granting universities or equivalent institutions. Rates are based on full-time student count. Canadian degree-granting academic institutions are eligible for a reduced rate by joining the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN).

Other Educational Institutions

Any educational institute not covered by the previous description, including community colleges, technical or vocational institutes, elementary and secondary schools may subscribe at a rate depending on the number of full-time students.

Public Libraries

Libraries that are open to the public with a mandate to serve the local community may subscribe at a rate of based on the number of residents in the community served

Government and other organizations

Includes any other type of organization not described above that do not serve the general public or education, such as public and private companies, non-profit organizations, special libraries, government organizations, etc.

Institutional clients must be able to provide a list of static IP addresses for authentication.
