The Héritage project will contain some of Canada’s most popular archival collections, including roughly 60 million pages of microfilm images. Chronicling the country and its people from the 1600s to the mid-1900s, this collection represents a vast and unique resource for Canadian historians, students, and genealogists.

Early Canadiana Online

Early Canadiana Online (ECO) is the first large-scale online collection of early Canadian print heritage. It currently offers twelve online collections totalling several hundred thousand digitized titles and is continually expanding.

Subscriptions to ECO support digital preservation in Canada and are available for individuals and institutions.

Canadiana Discovery Portal

The Canadiana Discovery Portal provides FREE access to diverse digital collections from many of Canada’s libraries, museums and archives. These valuable collections are growing, making the Discovery Portal your single best source for Canadian documentary heritage. Check back often!
